Who can rent through MedPro Housing?

While our primary focus is on traveling medical professionals, we welcome any professional or individual needing a mid-term rental. If you need a home for a few weeks or months, MedPro Housing can help!

How long is a mid-term rental?

Mid-term rentals typically range from 1 to 6 months. However, we understand that assignments can vary. We work with property owners who can often accommodate flexible lease terms to match your contract length.

What is included in a fully furnished rental?

Our listings generally come with essential furniture (bed, couch, dining set), a fully equipped kitchen (dishes, cookware, utensils), and basic appliances (stove, refrigerator, microwave, etc.). Many rentals also provide linens, towels, Wi-Fi, and utilities, but specifics can vary by property. Be sure to check individual listings for exact details.

Are utilities included in the rent?

Many of our properties include utilities (water, electric, gas, Wi-Fi) in the monthly rent. However, it varies by listing. Each property description will outline exactly what’s covered, so please review the details before booking.

How do I search for properties on MedPro Housing?

Simply go to our homepage, enter the city or ZIP code where you need housing, select your preferred arrival and departure dates, then click “Search.” You’ll see all available properties in that area, with filters to narrow results based on price, amenities, and more.

What if my hospital assignment changes?

We understand that dates can shift. If you need to extend or shorten your stay, contact us and/or the property owner as soon as possible. While we can’t guarantee availability or refunds, most hosts are willing to accommodate date changes if they can.

How does payment and rent collection work?

Once you find a property and agree to the rental terms, your first payment (which may include a security deposit) is usually required to secure the booking. Future rent payments are typically collected monthly. Specific payment methods (e.g., credit card, bank transfer) depend on the property owner.

Do I need to pay a security deposit?

Depends on the property. Many property owners do require a security deposit to cover potential damages or excessive wear and tear. The amount and terms vary by listing. Deposits are often refundable upon a successful inspection at the end of your stay.

Is renter’s insurance required?

It depends on the property owner’s policies. While not always mandatory, we highly recommend purchasing renter’s insurance for peace of mind—especially given the unpredictable nature of travel assignments.

Are pets allowed?

Pet policies differ from property to property. Some allow pets with an additional fee or deposit, while others have strict no-pet rules. Always check the listing details or use the “pets allowed” filter when searching.

Is there a fee to use MedPro Housing?

We do not charge browsing or listing fees to traveling professionals. Our costs are paid by property owners. The total amount you see when booking is what you’ll pay—there are no hidden fees.

How do I contact the property owner if I have questions?

What happens if there’s a maintenance issue during my stay?

Most owners or property managers will provide direct contact information for maintenance requests. If you’re unable to reach them or have an unresolved issue, contact us and we’ll do our best to facilitate a timely resolution.

How do I list my property on MedPro Housing?

If you’re a property owner, click the “List Your Property” button on our website. You’ll be guided through the steps of creating a profile, setting your rental terms, and uploading photos. Once your listing is live, travelers can find and book your property through the platform.
